Described as London’s luxury district, Old Bond Street is famous for its wealth of elegant stores, exclusive brands and designer fashion. With such prestigious stores as its neighbours, the offices at 45 Old Bond Street needed to be luxurious inside and out and so the team at BSPS were recruited for a full fit out.
Existing ceilings and partitions were striped back to their shell as well as the toilets. The team also demolished two substantial chimneys out of hours to gain more lettable floor space and minimise disruption for neighbours. Fan coil units were replaced with a new three pipe VRF system and a new SAS plank ceiling with lights, FD system and a standalone fire alarm panel was installed.
The team removed and installed new secondary glazing after re-decorating all the windows, spraying the aluminium windows and doors to provide a fresh new look.
One of the most striking transformations has been the new toilets. The team expertly utilised the existing doors and partitions making the project more sustainable and keeping the original character and style of the building.
